Wedding at Muang Samui Spa Resort

Muang Samui Thai Wedding Ceremony - Ceremony starts in the morning at 09.00, leading the bride and groom from the bridal suite to the wedding reception hall by a long-drum parade.
- At the ceremony hall, Buddhist monks will start the religious rites, chant prayers of health and happiness for the wedding couple’s marriage. As a good gesture, the couple offers fruit and alms for the monks.
- The bride and groom kneel side by side, string draped over each another, symbolizing and connecting their spiritual union.
- Garlands are presented and powder is placed on the foreheads of the couple for good luck.
- Monk sprinkles the holy water, couple clasp their palms together in a prayer-like gesture while guests pour the sacred water over the couple's hands for good luck.
- To traditional Thai music, the couple solemnly pronounces their vows and exchanges rings
- Wedding Registration
Muang Samui Tropical Beach Wedding - Ceremony starts with a long-drum parade from the bridal suite leading the bride to wedding reception hall (strewing blossoms on the way to the hall) where the groom is waiting.
- Minister/Priest conducts the religious rites
- Just before the wedding vows, the parents of the couple come forward (or other family members, children etc.) and light a candle for each of the couple. Then bride and groom light the centre candle from these two outside candles. The unity candle symbolizes the joining of their families, the merging of two individuals, and a creation of a new family.
- The couple solemnly pronounces their vows and exchange rings with romantic serenading in the background.
- Champagne toast
- Couple will release two birds at the same time.
