Koh Samui the third largest island in the Kingdom lies midway in the gulf of Thailand. Bangkok Airways now offers up to 30 flights a day to Samui island. The flight takes just an hour and ten minutes to travel the 700 kms. southeast from Bangkok.

Ko Samui can also be reached from the southern mainland town Suratthani which is conveniently served by plane, train and bus links daily from Bangkok. Ferry services take two and half hour to reach the island from Suratthani with trips every 1 or 2 hours.
