Gulf of Thailand, 100km from Suratthani, the district centre. As
Koh Samui's sister island, Koh Phangan is easily access in many
ways of transportations. Visitors can travel to Phangan via Koh
Samui by flying in to an international airport that receives flights
from all over Thailand and Asia. Then, the easiest way to get to
Phangan is to take the express boat from Bo Phut Pier on Koh Samui
to Haad Rin Pier on Koh Phangan. Traveler can also travel to Phangan
by other means like BUS, TRAIN from either Bangkok or Suratthani.
Koh Phangan is unique in many ways: it has been known for unspoiled
beaches, undamaged coral reefs, the primitive nature of jungles
and waterfall at Than Sadet National Park. Trailers also enjoy visiting
nearby islands such as Koh Tao and Ang Thong National Marine Park
where main attractions are snorkeling and diving.

Fullmoon Party
This monthly event sees thousands of people descend on Haad Rin
beach for the famous party. International and Thai DJ's play all
kinds of music from techno, trance, goa, drum n' bass, dub and reggae
on up to 15 different sound systems along the length of Haad Rin
beach so you can dance the night away. There are many small tables
laid out along the beach where you can sit down with your friends
or meet new ones from all over the world while enjoying food and
drink from the restaurants and the bars.
