Location
The Beachcomber Hotel is situated in the centre of
Chaweng Beach on the Northeast coast of Koh Samui.
Koh Samui's best beaches lie along the northern and
eastern coasts, and Chaweng is one of the most popular.
And it's really no wonder... the sands of Chaweng
Beach are as white as talcum powder and myriad coconut trees line the
entire length of the bay. You realise how many when a tour guide informs
you that Samui produces about 3 million coconuts a month.
Besides beaches, other island attractions include
the Hin Lat and Na Muang waterfalls, Hin Ta/Hin Yai - the naughty rock
formations at the southern end of Lamai Bay, the Big Buddha - a massive
seated Buddha image on Ko Fan, and Nathon - the island's major seafront
settlement where shops, restaurants, tour agencies and hotels are located.
